Just a quick update about the wind and thunderstorm potential today. We still expect strong gusty winds to develop later today into this evening. Southwest winds up to 55-60 mph are possible. There remains uncertainty on how widespread the strongest gusts will be. There is concern for damage due to foliated trees. Stronger wind gusts are also possible with any thunderstorms which develop this afternoon.
