Attached is our latest briefing regarding the risk for dangerous heat late this week. There have not been any major changes since our previous update.

There is also a risk for strong/severe storms today and on Thursday. The severe weather threat today should be more isolated/sporadic in nature; however the severe weather threat on Thursday may be larger in spatial coverage. The main threats with any stronger storms today and Thursday are damaging wind gusts and torrential downpours.

The timeframe for the severe thunderstorm risk today is from 2-9 PM. We will have more details about Thursday as we get closer.
