- There remains a risk, albeit lower than today, for heat-related illnesses such as sunstroke, muscle cramps and/or heat exhaustion with prolonged exposure.
Heat and air quality headlines also continue into this evening.
In addition to the heat, a few of the thunderstorms which develop Wednesday may become strong with gusty winds and small hail. These could be anywhere across southern New England Wednesday.
