Good afternoon. Our next winter storm is expected to impact southern New England Sunday night into Monday morning. Attached is a briefing package to supplement the details below. Please stay tuned for additional emails on Sunday. *Changes:* - Gale Warnings have been issued for southeastern waters Monday morning *What:* - Snow with accumulations of 6 to locally 10 inches across much of the region. Lesser amounts toward southeast MA and southern Rhode Island where snow changes to rain overnight. - Impact to the Monday morning commute, especially across the interior. - Risk for isolated power outages from northern CT into northwest RI and interior MA if higher snow amounts are realized. *Where:* - Snow across all of southern New England; heaviest snow most likely over interior central/northeast MA. On Cape Cod and the islands snow changes to rain overnight. *When:* - Snow develops between 6 and 8 pm Sunday evening, ending Monday morning (early west, late east). - Heaviest snow generally 10 PM Sunday to 5 AM Monday *Uncertainty:* - High confidence in a plowable snowfall.
