NWS Boston EM Briefing: Potential Heat Advisories Mon/Tue
Good Afternoon, Hot and humid weather is expected in southern New England for the next several days, especially away from south coastal locations. We want to draw your attention to the possibility of the heat index reaching 95-99 degrees on Monday and Tuesday, mainly in the Connecticut and Merrimack Valleys and in other parts of interior eastern Massachusetts. This includes Hartford, Springfield, Lawrence, Lowell, Bedford, and Taunton, Heat Advisories may eventually be needed for these areas in later forecasts. For now, please check the NWS Heat Risk webpage <https://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/heatrisk/> for potential heat impacts. We have attached the graphics for Monday, and Tuesday.
