Good morning, Following is a short decision support briefing for Saturday, with another round of gusty to locally strong west wind gusts expected later today in Southern New England. Following the passage of a cold front later this morning, northwest winds will again become gusty, topping out in most areas around 35 to 45 mph. Adverse impact from this level of gusts should be minimal. There are no active wind headlines in effect for Connecticut, Rhode Island and most of Massachusetts. However wind gusts up to 50 mph are expected in the Berkshires. With the strong wind event that occurred yesterday that may have weakened trees and limbs, gusts to that level could cause additional wind damage. A *Wind Advisory* has been posted for the Berkshires, which runs through 10 PM this evening.
