This will bring strong winds to coastal areas, especially Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Ocean areas will have strong winds and high seas. Snow accumulations up to a few inches are forecast for the Cape, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. This could create slippery travel Friday night into Saturday morning. In addition, the attached images include storm total snowfall, maximum wind gust in miles per hour (MPH) on land, and maximum wave heights in feet for the coastal waters. *Headlines and locations:* - *High Wind Warning* for Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket this evening through noon Saturday - *Wind Advisory* for Block Island, coastal Essex County, eastern Norfolk County and all of Plymouth County this evening through noon Saturday - *Storm Warning *in effect for most of the coastal waters south of RI and south/east of MA - *Gale Warning* for Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay and Ipswich Bay, Block Island Sound and Narragansett Bay - *Winter Weather Advisory* for Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket - *Coastal Flood Advisory *for the Saturday morning high tide along all of east coastal MA, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket *What:* - North winds of 20 to 40 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph. On Nantucket, gusts peaking at 60 to 70 mph. - Tides running around 2 feet above normal.
