[2019.12.13 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Update Flood Watch & Wind Advisory Expanded
Good evening everyone We just wanted to let you know that the Flood Watch has been expanded into portions of western MA and parts of northern CT. Widespread 1.50 to 2.50 inches of rain with localized 3 to 3.50 inches are possible overnight into Saturday. If the higher amounts are realized, the potential exists for some river/stream flooding as well as urban flooding. Also, the Wind Advisory has been extended a bit further northwest into portions of southeast MA for southerly 40 to 55 mph wind gusts on Saturday.
