Otherwise, wind gusts to 40 to 50 mph are expected Friday morning across the rest of southern New England. - Possibility of extending High Wind Warnings inland across southeast Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island. - Strong post-frontal west wind gusts to 40-50 mph expected Friday night, with greatest risk over the Berkshires, Worcester Hills and the Islands.
