NWS Boston: Quick update on light snow for Cape/Islands tonight
All (but primarily for our partners across the Cape and Islands), We just wanted to let you know that we decided to cancel the winter weather advisory for Nantucket. With our latest forecast, we expect even less snow to occur than we previously were forecasting. There will still be a period of light snow, especially across Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, this evening into part of tonight. However accumulations will be generally 1" or less, with at most 2" on Nantucket. A dusting of snow could occur across Cape Cod and the immediate south coast of RI and MA. Attached is our latest snowfall forecast. Frank Nocera and Andy Nash If you have any questions or would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
