[07.28.2023 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing - Oppressive Heat, Severe Storms Saturday
Good evening everyone, Attached is the latest briefing for tomorrow's active weather. The Heat Advisory continues for much of the region on Saturday. There is a chance of severe thunderstorms, mainly from Noon to 9 PM, but a few storms are possible earlier. The greatest risk is damaging straight-line winds, but there is also a possibility of hail and a brief tornado. Any storms may produce heavy downpours, so there is also a risk of localized flash flooding, especially if storms traverse the same areas. -- Glenn Field and Andy Nash If you have any questions or would like more information, don't hesitate to contact us via this email address, on NWSChat <https://nwschat.weather.gov/>, or at the following: National Weather Service Boston/Norton, MA 46 Commerce Way Norton, MA 02766 508.622.3280 Website <http://www.weather.gov/boston> | Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/NWSBoston> | Twitter <http://www.twitter.com/NWSBoston>
