Good morning, Attached is a one pager briefing regarding an extension of the Flash Flood Watch currently in effect through 11PM tonight. Another round of thunderstorms and heavy rainfall is forecast for western MA, and northern CT/RI this afternoon. 1-3 inches of rain is forecast for these areas with locally higher amounts possible. This will make urban areas, small streams, and areas with poor drainage vulnerable to flash flooding.
