The worst of the heat and humidity will be Sunday and Monday when heat advisories will likely be needed, especially in the Connecticut Valley and portions of eastern Massachusetts into Rhode Island. Heat indices will reach 95 to 100 Sunday, peaking in the upper 90s and low 100s Monday. Low temperatures will be in the 70s Sunday night and Monday night.
