[2021.09.23 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing - Isolated Severe Weather/Localized Flooding Possible
Good afternoon everyone Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms along with localized flooding are possible on Friday. The greatest risk is between 4 am and noon on Friday; especially across western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. While widespread severe weather is not expected, isolated damaging wind gusts and even the low risk for a tornado exists. Heavy rain may result in localized flooding and a difficult Friday morning commute, particularly in urban centers across western Massachusetts and western Connecticut where a Flash Flood Watch is posted.
