Good morning, Please find attached a one pager briefing regarding the oppressive heat this weekend along with the forecast max heat index values for both days. Today, we are expecting just enough drier air to keep Heat Indices between 90-95F, just shy of Heat Advisory criteria. However, oppressive heat and humidity returns this weekend. Heat Indices could reach 100F on Saturday. On Sunday, actual temperatures might even approach 100F, with Heat Index values approaching 105F. As such, we have re-issued Heat Advisories for the weekend. Portions of the area, especially the Merrimack Valley, might get upgraded to an Excessive Heat Watch/Warning with future forecast issuance.
