Good morning everyone, Attached is an update on the threat of heavy rain and potential flooding for late today into Thursday morning. We continue to expect widespread 2-3" of rainfall with a swath of up to 4" possible. These rainfall totals may result in minor to moderate river flooding as well as urban and poor drainage flooding. *There have been no significant changes to the forecast since the last briefing. * In the ensemble river forecast graphics attached, here are the trends since the last update: Pawtuxet River at Cranston, RI: Median flood forecast (blue) has trended *higher** Wood River at Hope Valley, RI: Median flood forecast (blue) has trended *higher** **These probabilistic hydrographs show the range of possible outcomes. If the higher rainfall totals materialize, the higher river level probabilities will be realized.
