Good morning everyone, Attached is an updated one-page briefing and wind gust forecast graphic on the potential for strong and possibly damaging winds tonight and especially Thursday. No changes have been made to the forecast this morning. While confidence is high in seeing widespread gusts of 45 to 55 mph, there is also the possibility of some locations seeing gusts as high as 60 mph, especially in western and central Massachusetts. If our confidence increases in these higher gusts, some areas may be upgraded to High Wind Warnings later today. Winds will diminish later Thursday night into Friday morning with gusts of 25 to 35 mph. Additionally, much colder temperatures are expected Friday, with highs in the 30s, and potentially sub-freezing highs over the weekend. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
