Good afternoon, Attached is our final weather briefing for this event. Overall not much of a change in the forecast, but the Wind Advisory for Berkshire, western Franklin, western Hampshire and western Hampden counties has been upgraded to a High Wind Warning. Our second surge of strong to damaging winds occurs this evening from west to east as a cold front sweeps through. Winds rapidly shift to the west and northwest as the front slides through. Rain will briefly change over to snow as precipitation winds down and temperatures will be crashing. Snow accumulations will be limited to a coating to an inch, with an inch most likely across the higher elevations. There is a low risk for isolated icy spots, especially where minor accumulation occurs. The strong winds and rapid drying will dry out pavement before any freezing occurs in most spots.
