[2022.03.22 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Freezing Rain Overnight Wednesday into Thursday
Good afternoon everyone. We are expecting some wintery precipitation late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Freezing rain with a bit of sleet is possible with ice accumulation up to a tenth of an inch. Areas of concern are generally near and above 1,000 ft elevation. Winter Weather Advisory from 10 PM Wednesday to noon Thursday for higher terrain of the Berkshires, northern Worcester Hills, and Litchfield Hills. See attached image for advisory map. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute, mainly near and above 1,000 feet elevation.
