[2023.09.15 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing for Hurricane Lee
Good evening everyone, Please find attached our latest briefing on Hurricane Lee. The forecast is largely unchanged, however our forecast confidence has increased that the higher risk for coastal flooding, with pockets of moderate flooding, is during the late Friday night/early Saturday morning high tide. While coastal flooding is possible during the Saturday afternoon high tide cycle, inundation and beach erosion should be more in the minor category. For potential power restoration (bucket trucks), wind gusts will likely subside below 35 mph after sunset Saturday across the entire region.
