Dear Emergency Managers and other Partners,

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for most of eastern New York
and western New England for a light accumulation of snow, sleet and
freezing rain.

A storm system will bring a wintry mix, beginning this morning across
southern areas.  The precipitation will gradually expand across the
remainder of the area by this afternoon.  The precipitation will begin as a
wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain and will transition to mainly
snow by this evening before ending overnight.  A light accumulation of snow
and ice will make roads and walkways slippery.  While we are confident on
the expected impacts on slippery travel, there is still some uncertainty
regarding the exact amounts of snow/ice and duration of specific
precipitation types.

last email briefing on this storm unless conditions change.
