Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all of eastern NY (except
for Herkimer/Hamilton Counties) and western New England and is in effect
until 9 PM this evening.  Damaging winds are the main threat with any
storms, but some storms may also contain large hail.  Frequent lightning
and heavy rainfall will also be threats with any thunderstorms today as
well. A map of the watch area has been attached to this email.
