Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

*Rain and snow melt continues into tonight with flooding possible*

   - A few river points exceed flood stage
   - Flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas is possible especially
   where drains are blocked by snow


*With temperatures dropping below freezing tonight icy conditions will
develop on untreated surfaces as residual water freezes*

*Winter Weather Advisory for snow – Litchfield County*

   - A period of snow is expected late this evening into Wednesday morning
   - Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches
   - Slippery road conditions and reduced visibilities will impact the
   Wednesday morning commute
