Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A Wind Advisory remains in effect for portions of eastern New York and
western New England through 7 PM today for the potential for 50 mph winds
resulting in downed tree limbs and scattered power outages.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 1 PM today for northern
Herkimer and Hamilton Counties. An additional inch of snow is possible this
morning, with a storm total of 3 to 6 inches resulting in slippery travel
conditions and reduced visibility.

In addition, a storm system is expected to bring snow and a wintry mix to
the region late Monday night into Tuesday.  The best chance at seeing a
wintry mix is south of I-90, with mostly snow favored to the north.  Light
to moderate accumulations of snow, sleet, and ice are possible, which could
lead to difficult travel conditions. Winter weather advisories may be
needed in some areas.
