Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Several weather hazards are possible through the week.

   - Winter Weather Advisories continue for the entire forecast area except
   the southern Adirondacks and northern Washington/Warren counties for
   tonight through Tuesday. Snow should change to a wintry mix across the
   eastern Catskills, mid-Hudson Valley, southern Taconics, southern
   Berkshires and Litchfield County, CT. All snow is expected elsewhere.
   Hazardous travel is anticipated for both the morning and evening commutes
   on Tuesday. Please see attached briefing for more details regarding this
   event.


   - Snow squalls are possible on Wednesday, which could result in rapid
   changes in visibility and difficult travel conditions.


   - Frigid temperatures are possible Wednesday night through Thursday
   night.  Wind Chill Advisories may be needed for parts of the area.
