*- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County*

Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

There remains the potential for hazardous weather this week.

*Wednesday night into Thursday:* A period of freezing rain is possible
across the area with some areas receiving potentially a tenth to quarter
inch of ice. It is too early to be specific about what areas will see the
most ice potential but a trace or more is possible over the entire region.
Winter Weather Advisories will likely be needed in some areas once
confidence in ice amounts increases.

*Mid to late Week:* Periods of above freezing temperatures, snow melt and
rain will lead to rises on area rivers. Although river flows are not
expected to reach flood levels on their own, river rises may be enough to
cause some ice break up and movement which could lead to some localized ice
jam flooding.
