Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for the western and southern
Adirondacks, Mohawk Valley, Lake George Saratoga Region & Southern Vermont
for Tuesday into Wednesday. There is the potential for a moderate to
heavy snowfall across this area, which may result in hazardous to difficult
travel, including during the evening commute on Tuesday. Areas south of
this region may see sleet and freezing rain after a period of snow
Tuesday. While hazardous travel is still possible for this area, snowfall
amounts will be lower than areas to the north.
