Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A low pressure system will approach the area tonight. This system will
bring a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain tonight
into Sunday morning before changing over to all rain.  Less than an inch of
snow/sleet and a glaze to one tenth of an inch of freezing rain is
expected, which will make for slippery travel and hazardous walking
conditions.  A *Winter Weather Advisory* has been expanded to include the
entire region.

Additionally, strong to damaging winds are expected Sunday evening into
Monday evening across much of the region.  A *High Wind Warning *has been
issued for most of eastern New York. A *High Wind Watch *is in effect for
the remainder of the region, including Dutchess and eastern Ulster Counties
in New York and all of western New England.

Also, upslope/lake enhanced snow may produce light to
moderate accumulations to portions of Herkimer and Hamilton counties late
Sunday night into Monday night.
