Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A *light snowfall is expected Thursday night into Friday morning *which may
impact the Friday morning commute.  Expected snowfall map is attached.

A *significant storm expected impact the region this weekend* with a
moderate to possibly heavy snowfall. There is still much uncertainty in the
forecast, however at this time the time frame for impacts is Saturday
afternoon into Sunday evening with the potential for a wintry mix of
precipitation for areas south and east of the Capital District. Attached
are a couple of slides showing the probabilistic forecast for winter

(snow/sleet).
