Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

There is potential for a moderate to heavy wet snowfall Thursday night into
Saturday across the southern Adirondacks and southern Green Mountains. If
confidence increases for moderate to heavy snowfall amounts, then a Winter
Storm Watch may be needed later in time. In addition, Strong west to
northwest winds will be possible Friday night into Saturday across much of
the region. If confidence increases for frequent wind gusts in excess of 45
mph, then a wind advisory may be needed.
Attached are images depicting the possible highest end snowfall
accumulations, the possible minimum snow accumulations, as well as the most
likely (and current forecast) snowfall accumulations for this upcoming
snowfall event.
