Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A *Flood Watch* remains in effect for the Mohawk Valley and Adirondacks
through 6 PM today. Heavy rainfall combined with some snow melt may lead to
minor flooding, as well as ponding of water in low lying and urban areas.
Isolated thunderstorms may accompany the heaviest rainfall early this
morning.

A *Wind Advisory* remains in effect for all of eastern New York and western
New England for through this afternoon.  Southwest to west winds will gusts
up to 55 mph, which may allow for some downed trees and power outages.

After very mild weather this morning, temperatures are expected to fall
this afternoon into this evening behind the departing storm. Temperatures
will fall below freezing which may allow for any remaining wet surfaces to
become slick.
