[Weather] Light Icing Threat Friday Night In The High Terrain of The Worcester Hills/East Slopes of the Berks

Hi everyone

This is just a quick heads up email on the potential for some light ice
accretion Friday night in the high terrain.  We will attach an approximate
radar simulation, which depicts an approximate timing and precipitation
types and also include a brief outline in this email.

*WHAT/WHERE:  *
- Light freezing rain potential Friday night in the high terrain of the
Worcester Hills and the east slopes of the Berkshires. Ice accretion of a
trace to one tenth of an inch possible.

*WHEN: *
- Precipitation overspreads the region from west to east on Friday evening
roughly between 5 and 9 pm.  Rain is expected for most of the region, but
some light freezing rain will be possible in the high terrain of the
Worcester Hills and east slopes of the Berkshires.

*POTENTIAL IMPACTS: *
- Most ice accretion will occur on trees, but a few slippery spots are
possible at elevations over 1000 feet and particularly near 1500 feet.
- Ice accretion amounts will not be high enough to result in any power
outages.
- Precipitation will change to rain toward daybreak Saturday in all
locations. Temperatures will rise well into the 50s to 60s by Sunday
afternoon.
