Good afternoon everyone,
Strong winds are expected to increase Friday miring and linger into the
afternoon on Saturday. With recent rains/wet soils, the prolonged period
of strong winds may exacerbate the risk for impacts.
*What:*
- W-NW Sustained winds 20-30 mph.
- Wind gusts up to 40-50 mph at times.
*When:*
- Winds Friday 15-20 mph with gusts to around 40 mph at times.
- The strongest winds mentioned above mainly Friday night into early
Saturday..
*Where:*
- All of Southern New England will likely experience these winds.
*Impacts:*
- Winds of this magnitude may lead to downed trees/limbs.
- Some scattered power outages possible.
