Good morning everyone,
Strong to damaging winds continue this morning into early afternoon. Winter
weather is forecast for late Tuesday into Wednesday. Please see the
attached slides summarizing the latest headlines and threats for Southern
New England.
*What / When / Where ...*
*For Today into this evening at the very latest ... *
- *WIND ADVISORIES* for all of Southern New England continue through 3
pm today.
- Gusts as strong as 50 mph.
- Continued impacts of scattered tree, tree limb, and / or power line

*For the Tuesday into Wednesday time frame ... *
- Winter weather for all of Southern New England beginning late Tuesday

- Exact details remain fuzzy at this time, but the expectation is for
onset snow transitioning to rain for the coast while a wintry mix across
the interior.
- Biggest concern is impacts for the Tuesday afternoon into evening
commute, as well as the Wednesday morning commute. Travel headaches with
untreated surfaces becoming slick ... reductions in visibility
as a result
