Good afternoon,

Slippery travel is possible early Saturday morning across interior portions
of MA, RI and CT. Here are the details ...

*What* ... Areas of light sleet or freezing rain

*Where*... northern CT, northwest RI and western-central MA (EXCLUDING the
cities of Boston, Providence and Hartford), especially across the higher
elevations.

*When* ... 2 AM to 12 PM Saturday

*Uncertainty* ... Precipitation will overspread southern New England after
midnight Saturday, and continue into Saturday evening. Depending upon
temperatures, areas of light sleet or freezing rain are possible.
Eventually, any precipitation will transition to rain by Saturday
afternoon. The temperature forecast will be critical, where only a small
change can make a big difference in outcomes. A Winter Weather Advisory is
possible when confidence increases.

Also, colder air arrives Saturday night, and especially Sunday night. Any
remaining wet surfaces will freeze Sunday night.
