[Weather] Strong to Severe Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain expected Saturday

Good afternoon,
Thunderstorms with heavy rain and strong winds are possible Saturday
afternoon and evening.
WHEN:
- Saturday, from roughly Noon to 10 PM.
WHERE:
- All of Southern New England is at risk. Highest chance is in Northern CT
as well as Western and Central MA.
POTENTIAL IMPACTS:
- Thunderstorms may produce downpours of more than 1 inch per hour. This
may cause local street flooding as well as flooding of poor drainage areas.
- Locally strong or damaging wind gusts from thunderstorms are possible.
- Dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning will accompany all thunderstorms, and
may be a risk to anyone engaging in outdoor activities.
