Good afternoon everyone,

Included with this email is an updated briefing package for the winter
storm which will impact the region this evening into mid morning Monday.

*Changes:*

   - Winter Storm Warning now up for southern Berkshire County. All other
   headlines remain the same.
   - Snow totals raised slightly, with a focus of more areas 8-10 in a
stretch from N CT, across N RI into E MA. (Note: the bin on the map of
8-12" is closer to the 8-10" range).

*What:*

   - Widespread now with accumulations of 6 to 10 inches across much of the
region. Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches in Franklin and Western
Hampshire Counties. Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches on Cape Cod,
   especially the Upper Cape.
   - Impact to the Monday morning commute.
   - Risk for scattered power outages from northern CT into northwest RI as
well as much of eastern Massachusetts due to heavy-wet snow.

*Where:*

   - Snow across all of southern New England; heaviest snow most likely
over Rhode Island and central/eastern MA which includes the I-95 corridor.
On Cape Cod and the islands snow is expected to change to rain during the
   early morning hours.

*When:*

   - Snow develops in Connecticut and Western MA between 6 and 8 pm Sunday
evening, and in Central/Eastern MA and RI between 8 and 10 pm.
   - Snow ends Monday morning between 4 and 6 AM in the west and in Rhode
Island, and 6 to 9 AM in Central and Northeast MA.
   - Heaviest snow generally 1AM to 6 AM Monday

*Uncertainty:*

   - High confidence in a plowable snowfall. The greatest uncertainty
remains in where the band of highest snow totals will set up, as well as
how far north the rain/snow line reaches.

As always, please reach out at any time you have any questions or
concerns.
