[Weather] [2019.03.22 PM] Accumulating Snow and Strong Winds Tonight into Saturday

Good afternoon.
As low pressure moves away from the region, another round of snow will move
across central and western areas tonight through the early morning hours
Saturday. The snow will taper off Saturday morning. Strong westerly winds
are expected Saturday, especially across the higher terrain and along the
immediate coast.
*Changes:*
- Winter Weather Advisory added for Tolland county CT from 8 PM tonight
to 7 AM Saturday
- Wind Advisory in effect for Cape Cod and Nantucket for tonight into
Saturday
*Winter Weather:*
- Areas of snow will develop tonight and end by daybreak Saturday across
the interior, with accumulating snow expected across the higher terrain
into NE Connecticut as well as the east slopes of the Berkshires
- Snow accumulations of a coating to 1 inch across the lower elevations
- Potential for an additional 2 to 5 inches across the highest terrain
of western Franklin and Hampshire counties and 2 to 4 inches across the
high terrain of Tolland county
*Winds:*
- Winds will increase late tonight and continue through Saturday
- Sustained westerly winds 15-30 mph with gusts 35-45 mph are likely
tonight and Saturday, with a few gusts near 50 mph possible
- Highest wind gusts are expected across higher inland terrain as well
as Cape Cod and Nantucket
- Some isolated downed tree limbs and power outages are possible
*Marine:*
- Gale Warnings remain in effect for all waters through Saturday
- Strong West wind gusts to 40-45 knots develop late tonight and
continue through Saturday
- Seas will build to 8 to 13 feet offshore
