Good afternoon everyone,
Just an update on the severe weather potential for southern New England
this evening. A cold front is sliding in from the west, which will bring
showers with isolated thunderstorms. This activity should weaken as it
moves in.
There still is the potential for a coastal storm to impact southern New
England Monday into Tuesday bringing accumulating snow. Stay tuned to the
forecast through the weekend for more details on this system.
*What:*
- Showers with isolated thunderstorms are possible with the main
threats of:
- Strong wind gusts
- Brief heavy rain
*When and Where:*
- Between 5 to 7 PM across western MA and CT
