[Weather] [2020-05-14 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing for Severe Thunderstorms on Friday

Good afternoon everyone,
We are expecting a round of strong to severe thunderstorms to move through
Southern New England Friday afternoon into the evening.
*Threats:*
Main threat - Damaging winds
In addition to damaging winds there is also a threat of large hail,
dangerous cloud to ground lightning, an isolated tornado, and heavy rain
may lead to street flooding.
*Timing:*
Main time of concern is from 3 PM to 10 PM.
*Highest Risk Areas:*
North and west of Boston to Providence especially across the interior
