[Weather] [08.09.2021 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing For Oppressive Heat Wed through Fri

Good Afternoon everyone,

Overall, our thinking regarding the upcoming heat wave remains unchanged.
We continue to have high confidence in a three-day period (Wed-Fri) of
oppressive heat with maximum apparent temperatures/heat indices between 98
and 105°F away from the immediate coast. It should be noted that little
nighttime relief is expected, especially in the urban population centers.

Please find attached an updated one-pager and maximum apparent temperature
maps for each day.

Our next briefing will be available by 5 PM on Tuesday, but earlier if
headlines are issued.
