Good afternoon everyone,
Our forecast remains on track, therefore no changes in headlines or snow
amounts are anticipated. Attached is a loop of an approximate timeline of
the heavy snow for the remainder of this afternoon and evening. The loop
begins at 12 noon and ends at 1 am. The yellow pixels indicate snowfall
rates of up to 2.5 inches per hour are likely over RI and Eastern MA,
roughly 3 pm to 6 pm. The shades of green suggest 1-2 inches per hour for
the remainder of the afternoon and evening across much of CT, RI and MA.
Travel will become extremely difficult during this time. Snow intensity
then diminishes from 7 pm to midnight from south to north.
