[Weather] [06.27.21 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing - Oppressive Heat Continues This Week

Good afternoon,

Here is the updated weather briefing regarding the heat wave. The main
change with this update is to add Kent County RI to the Heat Advisory. In
addition, we are now forecasting heat index values 100-104F on Monday, with
95-100F on Tuesday.  This maintains a small chance that an Excessive Heat
Warning may eventually be warranted Monday for some locales if heat index
values reach 105F.

We have attached the following:
1. Maximum heat index/apparent temperature values for Monday through
Wednesday.
2. One-pager briefing.

Our next update will be by 6 AM Monday.
