Good Afternoon Everyone,

We wanted to provide an update on the possibility of heavy rainfall and
minor flooding Monday into Tuesday.

Here are the key points:

   - Total rainfall of 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts, is
possible across much of southern New England. The higher totals are most
likely to occur across western Massachusetts through Monday night.
   - The potential for river flooding remains low, but some smaller streams
   could reach bankfull.
   - At the very least expect minor flooding of urban and poor drainage
areas (the usual flood prone areas).

We will provide additional email briefings as conditions warrant. In the
meantime, feel free to contact us with any questions via this email
address, on NWSChat <https://nwschat.weather.gov/>, or by phone
(508.622.3280).

Thanks,

Glenn Field and Matthew Belk
