[Weather] [2022.08.08 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Isolated Severe Risk and Oppressive Heat for Tuesday

Good afternoon,

Oppressive heat and humidity continue for Tuesday, with heat advisories in
effect through 8 pm Tuesday.

In addition, much of southern New England is under a marginal risk for
severe storms Tuesday, primarily between noon and 10 pm. The main threat
tomorrow afternoon is damaging wind gusts and small hail.

Attached below are the maximum heat index forecast and severe weather
outlook from the Storm Prediction Center.
