BOX Operations - NOAA Service Account box.operations at noaa.gov
Thu Jul 14 16:44:19 UTC 2022

Good afternoon everyone,

We wanted to pass along a heads up about the potential for a few of this
afternoon's thunderstorms to be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction
Center has upgraded eastern MA to a marginal risk of severe storms (level 1
of 5) .

The hazards would be localized flooding and damaging winds, mainly for
eastern MA excluding the Cape and Islands (see attached image). The window
of time for these storms is generally 3-7 PM. If you have any questions, we
can be reached via box.operations at noaa.gov or 508-622-3280.

 Thanks,

Bryce Williams and Rodney Chai
