[Weather] [2022.07.18 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Possible Severe Storms Today & Upcoming Oppressive Heat/Humidity

Good morning,

Attached is a one page briefing along with the relevant graphics
regarding the potential for severe thunderstorms and heavy
rainfall/localized urban flash flooding this afternoon. While damaging wind
gusts are the primary threat, the greatest risk for an isolated tornado or
two is across western MA/CT but potentially as far east as Metrowest.

Looking ahead, it is likely that oppressive heat and humidity will return
later this week. An initial heat index forecast is attached. Thank you!
