[Weather] [11/11/2022 AM] NWS Boston Emergency Management Briefing

BOX Operations - NOAA Service Account box.operations at noaa.gov
Fri Nov 11 08:49:59 UTC 2022

Good morning,

Attached is our latest briefing regarding the gusty winds and heavy rain
potential Friday and Saturday. The heavy rain/flooding potential continues
to trend downward, while our confidence in gusty winds, especially across
SE MA and Cape Cod increases. Wind gusts of up to 55 mph are possible.
While we are still in the Weather Prediction Center's marginal risk for
excessive rainfall, we have chosen to remove the slide from the deck as the
flooding risk continues to diminish and will be isolated to poor drainage
flooding caused by leaf clutter in storm drains and downpours in
thunderstorms.

Our next briefing can be expected before 6 PM Friday. The next
briefing will likely be the final briefing.

Kind Regards,

Kristie Smith and Frank Nocera
