[Weather] [01.15.2023 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Today into Monday

Good morning,

Here is our latest briefing for the wintry weather and gusty winds today
into Monday.

Temperatures remain a significant forecast challenge, as it would not take
much of a change to significantly affect snowfall. There continues to be a
slight risk for some sleet or rain to mix in with the snow, which will
reduce snow accumulations. This is a longer duration, light snow event so
impacts will be reduced. However, we cannot rule out some ocean-effect
enhancement which would increase snowfall totals if temperatures turn out
to be lower.
