Good afternoon,

Following is a short update on our latest expectations for scattered strong
to isolated severe thunderstorms for areas primarily north and west of
Interstate 95.

Overall there are no significant changes to the timing or magnitude of the
severe weather risk and area most threatened. We still anticipate sporadic
instances of severe weather, in the form of tree damage and downed power
lines from straight-line wind gusts 40 to 60 mph, although there may be
hail up to 1 inch in diameter in the most intense of storms. Persistent
thunderstorms moving over urban or poor drainage areas would also elevate
the risk for localized flooding but this is a lesser risk.

As of 1230 PM Wednesday, thunderstorms were beginning to develop in the
Hudson Valley. These storms and additional ones are expected to move
northeast and affect western MA and CT between 1 and 3 PM, and into central
MA and RI between 3 and 6 PM. We anticipate a lesser risk for strong
thunderstorms in eastern MA, but the risk for thunderstorms should exist
after 5 PM for these locations.

Following attached graphic from our weather briefing sent this morning
remains valid.

Thank You!

Meteorologists: Andrew Loconto, Hayden Frank, Bill Leatham and Joe
DelliCarpini
